“Where to begin?!

Thanks to Kathryn, the wedding was absolutely perfect. I’ve never seen a person think so creatively and work so hard, and her tack in dealing with the vendors, the bride and groom, and their families was extraordinary.

When we began planning the wedding, I felt terribly insecure about it, given that Napa Valley was far away and I did not know the territory, locations, vendors, or any of the resources that we would use. With Kathryn’s help, all the pieces were put in place and worked just perfectly. She helped us to select the venues, the photographer, the videographer, the valet service, the antique car, the officiant, (whom my daughter tells me will be an advisor for them on important things as they go through their lives), the dress salon, and probably others I can’t think of right now - which melded into an exceptionally effective team.

One of our guests, our most exacting and experienced party giver, called us the next morning to talk for 20 minutes about the wedding. He said, ‘It was perfect in every detail!’ Trust me: that’s high praise from a difficult fellow to please.

Kathryn guided us along the paths we knew we wanted to take, but also gave us good advice we hadn’t expected. As we moved through the process of planning the wedding, my faith in her grew exponentially.

Kathryn just stayed so calm. Sewing Caroline’s dress when she tore it right before time to walk down the aisle was definitely a high point in my daughter’s and my appreciation of her. She was about to collapse with concern, and Kathryn took care of it so beautifully.
